The upper pool at Edith Falls — reached by a 2.6km return walk through open woodland above the main falls. The upper pool is more secluded, circular, and spring-fed. Often empty of visitors while the lower pool is crowded. One of the NT's most peaceful natural swimming spots. The upper pool at Edith Falls is arguably one of the most beautiful natural swimming holes in the NT — entirely circular, crystal clear, and surrounded by smooth rock shelves.
