Mindil Beach Sunset Markets
Darwin's iconic beachside market and the NT's #1 must-do experience. Over 200 stalls of Asian street food from Thai, Sri Lankan, Indian, Malaysian, Greek, and Brazilian cuisines. Live music stages, Aboriginal art, handmade crafts, and clothing. The main event is watching the sun set over the Timor Sea while eating satay on the beach. Arrive by 5:30pm for the best food selection. Parking fills fast — walk or cycle.

Parap Village Markets
Darwin's favourite Saturday morning market. Home to the legendary Parap laksa — widely considered the best in Australia. Fresh tropical fruits like mangosteen, rambutan, and jackfruit. Vietnamese pho, handmade crafts, organic produce, and great coffee.

Nightcliff Markets
Relaxed Sunday morning foreshore market with local art, organic produce, live acoustic music, and excellent coffee. Beautiful waterfront views and a genuine community feel. More laid-back than Mindil — perfect for a slow Sunday.

Rapid Creek Markets
