A series of shallow rock pools and small waterfalls in dense monsoon forest — the most secluded swimming experience in Litchfield. The 3.3km loop trail is undulating with some steep sections. The upper cascades are shallow (best for beginners); the lower cascades are deeper with small plunge pools. No facilities — a genuinely off-the-beaten-track experience. The Cascades offer the most peaceful, uncrowded swimming in Litchfield. The trail through dense monsoon forest is strikingly different from other park walks.
Solid spot — worth a stop if you're nearby.
