A peaceful billabong near Cooinda in Kakadu, less visited than Yellow Water but equally rich in birdlife. Walking trails encircle the billabong through monsoon forest edges. Magpie geese, brolgas, jabiru, and various heron species are common. A quiet alternative to the busier Yellow Water cruises. One of Kakadu's quieter birdwatching billabongs. The magpie goose population here can exceed 2,000 birds in the dry season.
Solid spot — worth a stop if you're nearby.
